This is the

Carers Club

The Carers Club Shirt & Flowers

The Club I wish I’d had when I was a carer for my mum, Jillian.

The Club where I could express all of my struggles, fears and triumphs with people who got it.

The Club I want now as I navigate life as a bereaved Carer.

The Carers Club is a space for everyone! Our community is built on connection, candour and compassion.

It doesn’t matter what your story is.

Whether you’re currently caring for a Loved One at home or from afar, have lost a Loved One and are looking for a community who understands your grief, or are a friend of a carer and want to learn how best to support them.

We’re here for you

I care and create for carers.

In my mid-twenties, I was a first-time mum, a wifey, working — and caring for my best friend, who happened to be my mum.

She was diagnosed with a Stage IV GBM brain tumour and died just 16 months later in her early 50s.

That season of life was overwhelming in every sense. I was exhausted, heartbroken, and trying to hold everything together. My friends were beautiful and supportive, but they hadn’t walked this road. I remember craving someone who got it — the mental load, the practical juggle, the emotional whiplash of being a carer.

I wanted to feel seen. I wanted to feel understood. And honestly? I just wanted a little breathing space.

That experience changed me forever.

Fast forward over a decade later — I’m now a mama to three, still a wifey to one, and the founder of The Carers Club and Carer Coach. It’s a pleasure supporting carers and bereaved carers every day.

The Carers Club was born from my own lived experience. It’s the space I wish I had back then. A place where carers can connect, exhale, share honestly and feel less alone.

Because here’s what I know: caregiving is incredibly hard. It’s messy and beautiful and exhausting and meaningful — sometimes all at once. There’s grief in it. There’s love in it. There’s even unexpected magic in it.

And you shouldn’t have to navigate it on your own.

Everything I do — coaching, community, content — is about helping carers feel supported, steady and seen. I believe caregiving isn’t just about surviving it. It’s about finding ways to sustain yourself within it. To reconnect with who you are. To build resilience. To find meaning, even when things feel heavy.

I’m a Canberra girl who’s been living and loving the Sunshine Coast since 2018. When I’m not working, on a kids’ sport sideline, or studying for my Diploma in Counselling, you’ll usually find me walking along the beach with a podcast in my ears.

Reach out – I’d be honoured to support you.

Much love,

Em x

“Emma has the most comforting energy — just being around her has been so therapeutic for me over the last 2 years. The Circles have provided me with so much support. They are a safe space and have been incredible at normalising my grief in a world that moves on too quickly. I love how Emma keeps it real and often just knows what to say.”
